01:30AM - Just to recap. The winning numbers from last night's Powerball draw were 8, 12, 13, 19 & 27 PB 4. There were 2 jackpot winners so it resets/rolls over to the next draw on Wednesday 31st October.

12:30AM - Results are still being processed. Typically it takes 2 hours from the time of the draw to determine whether there has been a jackpot winner or if the jackpot rolls over.

11:41PM - With the large amounts of tickets sold it could take some time to find out if the Powerball jackpot has been won. Good news is you'll be the first to know.

10:45PM - Mavis Wanczyk from Massachusetts holds the record for the biggest Powerball jackpot ever claimed by a single ticket holder. She won $758 million in August last year and opted for a cash lump sum payout of $480 million. Tonight’s winner, if there is one, would be on track to receive a similar amount of money.

10:39PM - If you’re wondering, the biggest-ever Powerball jackpot – and, in fact, the biggest jackpot ever to be awarded in any lottery – was a $1.58 billion prize split three ways in January 2016.

10:33PM - One more rollover could see the jackpot hit that magical $1 billion dollar mark. It would be just the third time in history that it has happened.

10:23PM - $750 million is a lot of money. It has taken 21 draws to get that high, and it was last won on August 11th, when Nandlall Mangal, a carpenter from Staten Island, New York, won $245 million.
